KOMODO:


Komodo National Park is situated in South-East Asia between the islands of Sumbawa and Flores. There are two big islands in the park: Komodo and Rinca and many other smaller islands and the sea surrounding. The area of the park is 187.500ha (112.500ha of the sea and 75.000ha of the islands).It was set up in 1980 and in 1991 was added to the Unesco list. The climat of Komodo is dry and hot for most of the year, with a short rainy season in January and February. The North-west monsoon blows from November to February and from April to October an arid winds blow from Australia.
